At the Independence Day ceremony, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif also stated that in a few days, the electricity bill will be decreased which Is expected to help support Pakistan’s industry and agriculture. He added that a new five-year economic plan for the country will be announced shortly, “designed to bring us well on course back out of this unprecedented collapse.”
He then paid glowing tributes to the sacrifices of Muslims guided by Quaid-e-Azam that gave birth to Pakistan and lauded his call for respect, protection, and promotion of all religions in the country. He also admitted the hindrances that saliently pounded through its path since 77 years in terms of economic strife, among others; emanations from in and other currents.
The Prime Minister was talking about the painful past 77 years in which Pakistan faced economic miseries and domestic as well external conspiracies. He spoke of the public’s concerns about inflation, unemployment, and expensive electricity bills, saying that these matters must be dealt with urgently but also using previous experience to guide future strategies.
Even though he reminded us about the predictions of an early end to Pakistan, but is still alive and well after 77 years because there have been few who worked for it. He said we should not depend on anyone and start following the Quaid-e-Azam as he is everywhere to tackle all present problems.
Those assurances came as the Prime Minister sought to reassure Australians that his government is doing everything it can to reduce power prices, with more announcements on the way. He also said that he would implement a five-year economic plan, and suggested the introduction of inflation-free power to accelerate economic progress through lowered energy prices.
